Current Fundraising Efforts.

To donate please visit the JustGiving page or text either MAGS59 or HAYC88 plus an amount (e.g. £2) to 70070. Every little helps. Thank you.

Summary.

This website is all about Scott Murphy a normal, yet unique, man who sadly passed away on Friday 27th April 2012 after living with a rare genetic condition called Von Hippel-Lindau (VHL).

There is much more about Scott's life on the Scott's Story section of this website, a biography if you like.

It should be known that the majority of VHL sufferers don't know they have it, at least until later life and even then have very mild or unnoticeable symptoms, Scott's case is one of the few severe examples of the condition.

There was a charity event on Sunday 28th August 2011, and was not just aimed at raising much needed funds but also awareness. Von Hippel-Lindau Contact Group (VHLCG) is a small registered charity associated with the condition and is the charity we chose to support with this event.

Thanks for visiting and I hope the purpose of this website and making Scott's story known are realised.

There is a section at the bottom of the Scott's Story section to leave comments and share memories. Please make the most of it.
